CSTEP Hosts Alumni, Friends at 25th Anniversary Gala

March 12, 2012 - Bronx, NY - A Fordham program designed to open doors for minority and economically disadvantaged students celebrated its 25th anniversary on March 3.

Fordham’s Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program (CSTEP) is an undergraduate scholars program designed to prepare students for careers in scientific, technical, health-related and licensed professions. More than 100 alumni attended the anniversary celebration.

The program, which is part of a statewide effort, emphasizes academic achievement and career awareness. CSTEP provides students with academic services, networking and career advancement opportunities, and social support throughout their college career.

The Fordham University CSTEP program is open to undergraduate students from both Rose Hill and Lincoln Center campuses. For more information and application details, visit the CSTEP site.

Founded in 1841, Fordham is the Jesuit University of New York, offering exceptional education distinguished by the Jesuit tradition to more than 15,100 students in its four undergraduate colleges and its six graduate and professional schools. It has residential campuses in the Bronx and Manhattan, a campus in West Harrison, N.Y., the Louis Calder Center Biological Field Station in Armonk, N.Y., and the London Centre at Heythrop College in the United Kingdom.
