Union College Summer
STEP Program
Summer 2013, Union College
Union had a summer STEP program for 3 weeks in July
with 40 students in middle and high school. We had 10 Union
College student mentors working with the kids in small groups.
They attended workshops and also did small group research projects
that they presented on the last day.
Summer STEP presenters included Union faculty, local professionals,
and faculty from Empire State College.
Rising HS Seniors also worked on college search activities
and visited two schools.
We will start Academic Year workshops in early October. We
also have several students receiving tutoring for SAT and
classes.
