Morrisville STEP Students
Participated in the Global Game Jam
January 24-26, 2014, SUNY Morrisville,
NY
On January 24th-26th, STEP students participated in the Global
Game Jam at SUNY Morrisville. Global Game Jam is an international
event to provide a vehicle for professional developers, students
and hobbyist to come together and have an incredible experience
in collaboration and inventiveness. Everyone is give a central
theme and 48 hours to complete a video game or board game.
Morrisville STEP students completed all the code necessary
to finish their video game. It was a weekend with very little
sleep, frustrations, failures, and final success. These STEP
students did a remarkable job during this Global Game Jam
and are now part of a World Record for the largest video game
event ever held. The students plan to continue developing
their game and other games in the future.
