Student Graduated from the MVCC Young Entrepreneurship Academy

2016

Mohawk Valley Community College STEP student Sar-See Moo was one of 12 area students that graduated from the MVCC Young Entrepreneurship Academy this past year. The 30 week program requires students to develop a business idea, a concept for that business, pitch the concept to investors and then fill out DBAs (Doing Business As) at the Oneida County Clerk’s Office to become CEOs of their own business. Her business, Moolo, sells holographic projectorsa device that allows a person to view holograms on their mobile device. Moo was awarded a Presidential scholarship, full tuition for two years, to MVCC. She also received a full funding request for her company as a result of her Investor Panel Pitch, was recognized at the 2016 Mohawk Valley Electrical Engineer Council Awards Dinner and honored at the recent Project Fibonacci STEAM Youth Conference.
