Student Graduated
from the MVCC Young Entrepreneurship Academy
2016
Mohawk Valley Community College STEP student
Sar-See Moo was one of 12 area students that graduated from
the MVCC Young Entrepreneurship Academy this past year. The
30 week program requires students to develop a business idea,
a concept for that business, pitch the concept to investors
and then fill out DBAs (Doing Business As) at the Oneida County
Clerk’s Office to become CEOs of their own business.
Her business, Moolo, sells holographic projectorsa device
that allows a person to view holograms on their mobile device.
Moo was awarded a Presidential scholarship, full tuition for
two years, to MVCC. She also received a full funding request
for her company as a result of her Investor Panel Pitch, was
recognized at the 2016 Mohawk Valley Electrical Engineer Council
Awards Dinner and honored at the recent Project Fibonacci
STEAM Youth Conference.
