The University at
Albany Summer Research Program 2013
June 2-July 27, 2013, UAlbany Campus
The University at Albany Summer Research Program proudly housed
17 scholars this past summer from June 2nd to July 27th 2013.
The scholars were engaged in various research fields including
biology, computer science and psychology. For the duration of
the program, a compilation of professional development workshops,
field trips and receptions were offered to the scholars. The
17 had the chance to learn about the different programs being
offered at Albany Medical College as well as network with professionals
in numerous academic fields at our annual MD/PhD and Mentor/Mentee
receptions. As the program closed, our scholars also had two
opportunities to present their 8 weeks’ worth of research
at the Annual Buffalo McNair Conference and at the University
at Albany.
