held its 20th Annual Summer Research Program

This past summer the SUNY New Paltz CSTEP held its 20th Annual
Summer Research Program from May 28 through June 28, 2013.
We funded three projects which included three professors,
six SUNY New Paltz students and two Dutchess Community College
students. Our projects this year were in the fields of Biology,
Chemistry and Geology. Participants met weekly with a Communications
professor to rehearse their presentations and attended an
abstract writing workshop to create their first drafts. Also
included were activities such as a planetarium show, hiking
and horseback riding. We concluded our summer program with
family and friends at the Presentations Luncheon.
