Program Attends the University at Buffalo’s 23rd Annual
Undergraduate Research Conference

Falls, NY
The CSTEP program was pleased to have 21 scholars attend
the University at Buffalo’s 23rd annual Undergraduate
Research Conference, held July 27 – 29, 2017, in Niagara
Falls, NY. The conference provided an opportunity for students
to engage other CSTEP scholars from across the country; attend
student-lead workshops and enjoy esteemed keynote speakers,
David Stovall, Ph.D., from the University of Illinois and
Gloria Ladson-Billings, Ph.D., from the University of Wisconsin.
Their participation at the conference reflects a culmination
of earlier work and continued opportunities to display, share,
and celebrate their research efforts. The diversity of oral
and poster presentations illustrate our scholar’s commitment
to their research and the guidance and support provided by
their mentors. Way to go CSTEP Scholars!
