STEM Diversity/STEP and CSTEP Long Island Summit

Farmingdale State College, March 19, 2013

The STEM Diversity/STEP and CSTEPLong Island Summit, held at Farmingdale State College on March 19, 2013 will bring together over 500 participants from education, business, and community to develop strategies and enhance opportunities to strengthen the STEM pipeline from K-12 to higher education and industry. Students, parents and educators from all over the Long Island Region will attend presentations, educational workshops, and demonstrations by Long Island STEM companies. An addition, a panel comprised of the Newsday STEM Spotlight scholars will present to middle and high school students about their participation in STEP/CSTEP and their current success in their chosen STEMfield or licensed profession.
