Significant Professional or Academic Accomplishments:

  • Participated in STEP from 7th-12th grade.

  • Won 2nd Place at the 2014 STEP Statewide Student Robotics Competition (March 28-30, Albany, NY). Perla, along with the rest of the SCCC STEP Robotics Team, was mentored by SCCC Professor Tatsiana Mironava.

  • Perla is attending Stony Brook University and studying biology.
