CSTEP Application Process & Eligibility
There are more than fifty CSTEP Programs housed at institutions of higher education and/or professional schools across New York State. Admission to a CSTEP program is competitive and requires students to participate in an application process. Please refer to the listing of regional programs by town/county (on the left) to find out if there is a program at your institution.

*Economic eligibility guidelines are determined by the state of New York. Students who are not underrepresented (e.g., Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, Alaskan Native, or American Indian) must meet these income guidelines. Please click here for an economic eligibility chart.
